My friends visited us during the thanks giving. We have been close friends since junior high school. The guy, Jiaxin, works in NY as an interactive designer at one of the best interactive design agencies in the world. The girl, Jinzi, works for a large bank and is pursuing her MBA degree. They moved from China to the US five years ago after graduating from University in China. Starting as international students, they eventually found themselves at home in NY. I am glad to see that their careers have taken off.

The life as a foreigner was not easy, but people left their home countries to pursuit better lives and career opportunities. By supporting each other, people are heading for their futures. Some people are lucky, they have their loved ones with them. Even at the very beginning, when each other was the only one in the country they know, they supported each other, overcame difficulties one by one, and eventually, built up the relationship that last for the whole life.
